Aronui

ARONUI Indigenous Arts Festival is a bold and explosive celebration of award-winning Indigenous artists. This celebration of cultural expression will showcase a range of art forms including theatre, writers talks, live music and the return of the ARONUI Māori Market in collaboration with Te Tākinga Marae, Mourea. Together we celebrate Indigenous creativity, talent, and culture. Nau mai, haere mai.

Kia Mau Festival

Fierce theatre, a hip-hop musical set in the city streets of Te Whanganui-a-Tara, customary Indigenous dance made contemporary, and wāhine Māori telling it like it is – these are amongst the offerings of Kia Mau Festival 2023.

Kōanga Festival

In celebration of Kōanga season, Te Pou Theatre will hold its 9th annual festival of new and exciting storytelling for the stage beginning 15 September 2023.
